Hallelujah by Funbi

Funbi is truly an artist to watch out for in 2017. After scene stealing appearances on tracks with rappers like Poe and ShowDemCamp, the Afro-funk artist breaks out on his own with his second solo single. The first being the underrated Ikon-produced Forbidden Fruit which formed a part of 2015’s excellent Collectiv3 LP by Various Artists.

He teams up with Ikon once again to deliver another excellent track titled Hallelujah with self affirming lyrics about perseverance and spirituality. The song maintains Funbi’s cool sound but with much more crossover pop appeal. In other words a banger if there’s truly any justice.

Watch the aesthetically pleasing video King Davies shot for the track in Olumirin Waterfall at Erin Ijesha in Osun State, Nigeria below.
